Something might be wrong in Miami as many players do not sound over excited to play over there.
Federer put it in the “black” (or not playing) list with Montecarlo and Basel. Nadal is not sure he will take part (same for Azarenka). Now Gulbis and Fish said they won’t play.

The American tweetes “Unfortunately I won’t be able to compete in Miami this year friends. Hope to be out there again soon! Thanks for the love and support in IW!”
Then he explained “I think the last time I was in Miami maybe two years ago I had a match with Del Potro where I cramped in the match in two sets,” he said. “That’s certainly not going to help in the back of my mind.”
Gulbis
After playing the last 2 tournaments from the qualifications, Gulbis appararently won’t try to qualify once again in Miami. The Latvian is expected to go back to Europe to prepare for the Davis Cup against Monaco.
