Novak Djokovic hit the headlines for the wrong reasons even if he tried to help his fellow players. The Serbian sensation wrote a note to Tennis Australian and the Victorian government giving a list of 5 things that would help his fellow tennis players.
Unfortunately, Novak is often a target of some media and his action wasn’t read that well. Many labeled Djokovic as arrogant and entitled while he just tried to help his fellow tennis players. Novak’s suggestions were strongly refuted by the Premier of Victoria, Daniel Andrews.

During an interview with a local broadcast, Craig defended Novak saying that he wrote just a note and reports against tennis players are a bit distorted.
Talking about Djokovic, Tile commented:
“In the case of Novak, he wrote a note, these weren’t demands, they were suggestions, but he is understanding what two weeks of lockdown means. I think the reports we’re seeing and things we are seeing doesn’t represent the entire playing group”
Djokovic is currently in Adelaide with other top players where he is having a “soft quarantine.” Since the very beginning, he vented his doubts about the double standards applied to the players in Adelaide and Melbourne during the quarantine.

Ranked world no.1, Djokovic played his last match on the 21st of November 2020 when he capitulated to Dominic Thiem 7-5 6-7(10) 7-6(5) in the semifinal in the Nitto ATP Finals (draw).
