That was a family affair and it was Serena to win it in style.
Serena didn’t have many problems to defeat her sister. The first set was incredibly quick as the world no.1 won it in just 22 minutes. Venus was able to give a bit more resistance in the second set, but the match finally ended in just 54 minutes.

“It’s really exciting,” Serena said “Especially since we both had to play so much tennis yesterday, it’s definitely hard on our bodies. We’re doing great, and we knew at least one of us was going to be in the finals tomorrow.”
She then added: “I feel great on the clay, I love sliding and I really look forward to not only tomorrow’s match but the rest of the clay-court season.”
Serena will play the final either against Jankovic or Voegele.
