Good news for the Swiss crowd as their tennis hero stated that he will play in Basel.
This has been a long dispute as according to the media as the five times champion asked for a very lucrative fee to play in 2013.
The tournament didn’t accept his request and Roger didn’t include it in his 2013 plan. Now things changed.

The Maestro said to Tages Anzeiger of Swiss daily that “everyone knows how much this tournament means to me and that is still true.” to add that he would play “without any kind of contract or agreement”.
