Nadal beats Kohlschreiber to reach the quarters in Monte Carlo

It’s Rafa no.45! Nadal won his 45th straight match in Monte Carlo to put a serious bid for the tilte. Rafa is as strong as ever and the tournament now lacks Murray (badly upset by Wawrinka), Ferrer, Federer and Djokovic is not looking great. So… we can’t see any other favorite than Rafa.

From Rafa

“I feel more relaxed. I had some uneasy moments during the past year. Now I’m back on the tour. Just being here is good news. And winning matches, I say every day, but winning every match is very important to me today. Every time I have the chance to go on court and play well, feel competitive, is a really good feeling.” commented Nadal.

Next vs. Dimitrov

Rafa will play an inspired Dimitrov i the quarters. The Bulbarian defeated Florian Mayer 6-2 6-4 in just 67 minute.

“Really looking forward to that match tomorrow,” commented Dimitrov. “Even for now I’m very excited. Hopefully I can perform at my best. It’s going to be a great match. I’m feeling quite good coming on court”

Head to head is 1-0 for Rafa, but Grigor will be a tough customer.

It will be fun
