    Cori Gauff didn’t have the run she was hoping for in Abu Dhabi where she surrendered as early as in the 2nd round. Coco had a strong start against Maria Sakkari to gain a good 3-0 lead after breaking her opponent twice. However, things went south and she eventually lost in straight sets.

    Even if Coco was not at her very best, she impressed with some of her shots. In particular, she won an amazing rally while at the net showing again that she is an all-court player.
