Maria is a very happy person right now!
The Russian beauty is now back in the top positions of the WTA rankings and she looks very happy about her relationship with Grigor Dimitrov.

The news broke last November when Maria was playing an exhibition in Milan. Out of the blue Grigor Dimitrov popped out from absolute nowhere during a video featuring Maria Sharapova walking in Milan. Everybody was wondering “What is Grigor doing in Milan?”. Well the answer was rather easy.
The rumor spread out and recently the paparazzi got them, and it was quite obvious that they have a romance.

Maria had a couple of happy comments about that. Answering to a question about how it is going she replied
“It’s going really well, thank you,”. Then she added that dating a younger person… “Maybe it makes me really young, too, inside, which is good.”
Talking about the importance of being with somebody that understand her job she commented
“It’s about finding the person where you can be yourself all the time, where you’re comfortable with being younger girl, the older girl, the mature girl, and the person that understands you and look at you and say you’re completely off your rocker!”
Finally, Maria had a comment about the end of her relationship with former NBA guard Sasha Vujacic
“It was hard, after spending so many years together with a person. You build a very strong foundation with a person and in time you realize that’s not the path you want to be going towards.”
So, she is good looking, smart, rich, famous, successful and she as a very handsome (and younger) boyfriend… life can’t be better for Maria!
