Vika wins a relatively easy semifinal in Rome.
The task wasn’t easy as she had to clash vs. the home favorite Sara Errani that is a very sticky player. The good news for the former world no.1 was that she had a really good start to bagel Sara in the first set. (Vika dropped only 7 points in the entire set). Vika then won the second set 7-5 to win in semifinal in 94 minutes.
The final vs. Serena
The Belarus will the final against Serena Williams (first time on cred clay). Head to head is 11-2 for Serena.
