Wow! You couldn’t expect this one.
Serena and Maria are having an intersting rivalry on court, but it seems that the relationship between the two has been deteriorating.
This may come from their “off court” life as Sharapova is notouriously dating Grigor Dimitrov that many were hinting had a relationship with Serena sometime ago.
The “Bomb” from Maria
During a pre-conference in Wimbledon Maria blasted at Serena saying that “Obviously I have a tremendous amount of respect for Serena and what she’s achieved on the court.
If she wants to talk about something personal, maybe she should talk about her relationship and her boyfriend that was married and is getting a divorce and has kids. Talk about other things, but not draw attention to other things.”
Serena ‘s Comments
This came after Serena released an interview at Rolling Stones blasting at Maria and Grigor without naming any of them.
“She begins every interview with ‘I’m so happy. I’m so lucky’—it’s so boring. She’s still not going to be invited to the cool parties. And, hey, if she wants to be with the guy with a black heart, go for it.” said Serena
Wow… if they get to the final in Wimbledon we may expect fireworks!
