The 23-year-old silenced her skeptics to reach the final at the French Open after she lost 6-0 6-0 in Rome’s previous event.
For some reason, Sofia struggles to hit the headlines despite her immense talent and success. Her father and coach once expressed his dissatisfaction with the fact that players like Coco Gauff grab more attention than his daughter.

It’s curious to notice that Sofia was just dropped by her management company, Top Five Management, ahead of her run in Abu Dhabi. Apparently, the company had some problems with Sofia’s entourage. It’s definitely uncharacteristic that such a young player at the beginning of her career is just dropped in this way by her management company.
