We have great news as some more tournaments are about to be officially confirmed after the Australian Open. According to L’Equipe, the ATP has sent an internal memo to its players stating the confirmation of 10 more tournaments.

The interesting point is that the ATP1000 in Miami has been confirmed despite the fact that its “twin” at the Indian Wells has been postponed or canceled.

It was widely expected that a couple of new ATP250 would have been introduced in the week of the 22nd of February and the 1st of March, but there was no mention from the French outlet (at least for now).

These are the tournaments:

22-28 (February) ATP250 Montpellier
ATP250 Cordoba
1-7  (March) ATP500 Rotterdam
ATP250 Buenos Aires
8-14 (March) ATP250 – Doha
ATP250 – Marseille
ATP250 – Santiago
15-21 (March) ATP500 – Acapulco
ATP500 – Dubai
24-4 (March/April) ATP1000 – Miami

About the BIG3

Talking about the top players, everything needs to be confirmed and it seems that the only certainty is that everybody will be scheduled to compete in Miami. In addition, Novak Djokovic is expected to compete in Dubai and Rafael Nadal in Acapulco.

and Federer?

It will be interesting to understand the schedules of Roger Federer that has just announced his withdrawal from the Australian Open. While it is legit to expect him to come back to Rotterdam or Dubai, his agent said that they are trying to negotiate with events that will be played at the end of February. Since it is unplausible that Roger will go and play in Cordoba, it is possible that we will give it a shot at Montpellier to test his condition.
