Nadal is back on practice court to resume a fantastic year and go for the top spot in the rankings.

Rafa is having a very interesting and successful year.

The King of Clay was back after an 8 month hiatus when he had to recover from a knee injury to then win an astonishing 7 tournaments (+ 2 finals) and also to record a mind blowing 8th Roland Garros title.

Then Rafa lost a horrible match in the firs round in Wimbledon (straight sets) against a “not magnificent” Steve Darcis playing one of his worst tennis ever. Time to retire? Well definitely not… it’s time to be back as world no.1… after the holidays… of course!

The vacation

Nadal got a couple of weeks of vacation in his beloved Majorca (nothing wrong with that.. not at all!) to be back to the practice court.

Nadal’s post

Everything has been duly documented in a post from Rafa in facebook saying “Preparado para entrenar! – Ready to the practice! :-)”

Back to world no.1

Rafa is now ranked world no.4, but he doesn’t need to defend a single point in the second part of the season. In fact, in the year to date rankings Nadal leads Djokovic of 780 points to put him in a strong position.

Time to go for it!
