Serena Williams and Bianca Andreescu formed a nice bond last year after they played each other a couple of times in the Rogers Cup and US Open finals in the space of few weeks. The Canadian sensation won on both occasions. In Canada, Serena had to withdraw because of an issue with her back. Later, at the US Open, Bianca conquered her first slam after defeating the American legend in straight sets.

Serena’s coach Patrick Mouratoglou was obviously impressed with Bianca’s performance and he will have the pleasure of hosting the Canadian ace at the newly founded branch of his Academy in Dubai.

The headquarter and main location of Patrick’s Academy still remain in the south of France where he was able to attract many talents also thanks to the proximity to Monte Carlo. Dubai is also a great place as scores os players are using that location to prepare for new seasons. The Academy will be opened in partnership with the Jumeira Group.
