Naomi Osaka is a fantastic example of how multiracial people can succeed in life. The world no.3 said that people often considered her as a mysterious “object” as she encompasses 3 very different cultures. Naomi’s mother is from Japan, her father from Haiti, and she spent most of her life in the US.
Naomi decided to keep her Japanese nationality. However, she has always been proud of her Haitian ancestry. After her inspiring title at the US Open, the Japanese sensation decided to have a trip to Haiti where she had also the chance to pay a visit to her foundation.
Naomi is currently in the US where she is getting ready for the new season after she has been sidelined for long by a hamstring injury. In the meantime, the former world no.1 decided to post some lovely pictures and videos of her trip to Haiti.

Now the world no.3, Naomi played her last match on the 12th of September when she overcame Victoria Azarenka 1-6 6-3 6-3 in the final of the U.S. Open to win her 6th career title.
This season Naomi has managed to achieve an overall 16-3 win-loss record. Osaka conquered 1 title at the U.S. Open. The Japanese reached the final in New York.
