Stefanos Tsitsipas has reached stardom after his last couple of seasons to become one of the most marketable tennis players on the circuit. However, things were not that great when he had to find a way to get to the top of the rankings, especially when he was a teenager. The Greek sensation has often talked about the financial struggles that he and his family had to endure some years ago.
Recently, Stefanos’ father and coach Apostolos talked about what they had to face to comment:
“One of the most important problems was the financial one after the age of 15, and 16 and Stefanos had to travel often to participate in various tournaments.”
Then Apostolos talked about Stefanos’ positive attitude in his life to add:
“But in general, Stefanos is a child of low tones, cooperative, not demanding and even on this occasion to emphasize that I personally learned many things from Stefanos. It is important that teachers and coaches let their athletes develop their talent and creativity.”
