Fabio beats Klizan 6-4 6-2 to play Monfils in the semifinal

The Italian has been a sort of “lost promise” to blossom all of the sudden. Fabio is now at a 12 matches winning streak after winning the tournament in Stuttgart (his first) and Hamburg and reaching the semis here in Umag.
With Klizan it was a sort of formality for the Italian that conceded 6 games to win the match in 70 minutes.
The semis vs. Monfils
We will have a very entertaining semi-final as the Italian will take on Gael Monfils (6-2 5-7 7-5 on Albert Montanes). Head to head is 3-1 for Monfils (2-1) on clay (details), but Fabio now seems to be the favourite.
