There are some interesting rumors on Twitter. The organization of Delray Beach tweeted that the event will be held starting from the 4th of January 2021. The tournament is usually played in February. However, since the Australian Open will be held most probably from the 8th of February, the organization of Delray Beach decided to change plans.

Nevertheless, the tournament’s tweet was quickly deleted, probably because they still needed the final go-ahead from the ATP with the relative officialization.
