Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian were living in completely different words before they met in Rome, where their romance started. During a recent interview, the 37-year-old confessed that he wasn’t interested in watching tennis before meeting his wife. Actually, he used to hate it. Then Alexis got in touch with the sport through Serena and he learned to appreciate the mental and physical toughness that our beloved sport requires especially when playing at very high levels.
Alexis also drew an interesting comparison between technology and tennis to say:
“I hated tennis for a long time, until I met my wife and tried to learn it. Now I appreciate the world of tennis. I understand how the world of tennis is a difficult and intense world.
In the world of technology, we work really hard, but we have been naive since the work done by a professional tennis player, both physically and mentally, is absolutely on another level.”
