Rafael Nadal And Jannik Sinner At The French Open

Jannik Sinner had a fantastic season and he really impressed during his run at the French Open, where he reached the quarters. The Italian ace was the player that bothered the most the great Rafael Nadal during the tournament. He was leading by 1 break in both the first and second sets. He had also the opportunity to serve out the opener when leading 6-5. However, it was Nadal to win in straight sets using his amazing tennis and mentality.

When asked to comment on Rafael Nadal, Janni commented:

“There are no words to explain Rafa. He is very superior mentally. He hits the ball very hard like the others but understands moments like no one else. He knows exactly what to do, and how and when to do it.”

Jannik is currently ranked no.37; however, he would have been the world no.20 if the traditional ranking system would have been used. If unseeded, the Italian is expected to be the most dangerous floater in every event in 2021.
