Ageless Tommy wins his 14th trophy in Munich with another wonderful match. It took only 83 minutes for Tommy to beat Kohlschreiber and win this tournament after being the runner up 13 years ago in Munich.
The German is the first 35 years old to win an ATP tournament since 5 years when Santoro won Newport at the same age.

“It’s a sensational feeling to be quite honest,” commented Haas.
“It was another one of those milestones that I hoped for, to maybe win this title one year. To have done that, this late in my career, is a big highlight for me. Every time you win a title, it’s a reflection of putting everything together the whole week. It doesn’t happen that often. You’re really proud of those moments.”
After this tournament Tommy will gain one position to be ranked world no.13.
