
Novak Djokovic endured an extremely tough loss to Dominic Thiem in the semifinal of the ATP Finals. The Serbian champion was widely considered as the favorite to win the match (and the tournament), but eventually he couldn’t capitalize on a strong 4-0 lead in the 3rd set tiebreak. Thiem won 6 consecutive points (6-4) before winning the breaker at 5.
Novak is well-known for being an extremely gracious loser and he didn’t disappoint after losing to Dominic to post the following message:
