Alexander Zverev is having a rather interesting moment in his young life. The 23-year-old has just won 2 back to back titles in Cologne and he was 2 games away from winning the ATP1000 in Bercy. However, he lost the final against a die-hard Daniil Medvedev.

The German ace has been dealing with all sorts of issues off court. He was accused by his ex-girlfriend Olya Sharypova of domestic violence and he will become a father soon since his ex-girlfriend Brenda Patea is pregnant with his baby.

Zverev is trying to make sense of his tricky moment. After losing the final in Bercy he said that he is extremely happy with his situation and he’s looking forward to becoming a father. Sascha released the following statement:

“Everything’s great on the court and off the court. Everything is great in my life, I’m going to be a father soon…

Those who are trying can keep trying but I’m still smiling, you just can’t see under the mask.”

Sascha is projected to become a father in February and he will take full responsibility even if he is not an item anymore with Brenda.
