Stefanos Tsitsipas is currently out of competitions after he lost in his opening match at the ATP1000 in Bercy following a battle that lasted more than 3 hours against Ugo Humbert.

Unfortunately in Bercy, the Greek sensation seems to be unable to get rid of an injury (edema) that hampered his comeback in the 5th set of the French Open semifinal that he lost against Novak Djokovic.

Stefanos is trying to recover from that injury in time for the ATP Finals, where he will be the defending champion. In the meantime, he turned back to be the “Greek philosopher” criticizing self-proclaimed vegans that use natural gut for their strings.

“I like how some people claim to be vegan and everything but keep playing with natural-gut strings. It’s almost like: I don’t eat meat and burgers but every match I play equals 8 dead animals. All that, for the sake of my feeling on-court,” he tweeted.

Well, he has a point.
