Andrey Rublev gets the better of Lorenzo Sonego 6-4 6-4 in the final in Vienna on Sunday. The Russian was in top form once again and even if the Italian has been playing at his very best during this tournament, he couldn’t do much. This is the 3rd consecutive ATP500 that Rublev has won this year after he conquered Hamburg, St.Petersburg and now Vienna. After this result, he qualified for the ATP Finals.

After the match, The Russian sensation explained why this tournament was so important for him to say:

“This tournament is really special for me because my grandma was also Austrian, so I have Austrian blood. It’s a really special title for me.”
