Alexander Zverev came across as a very nice guy in his first years on tour. Everyone was fascinated by this bright young good-looking kid that could play great tennis against the very best. Sascha was also able to get to people’s hearts with his lovely speeches even when he was the runner-up.
Unfortunately, things got dramatically south in the last few years. He had a rather brutal split with 2 well-known and respected coaches such as Juan Carlos Ferrero and Ivan Lendl. Sascha also had to face a harsh lawsuit against his former agent Mauricio Apey. In addition, the world no.7 had a rather tormented relationship with German model Brenda Patea that ended after a few months. Yesterday, it was revealed that Brenda is pregnant and the father is Zverev. The German ace was also slammed more than once for his carelessness during the pandemic and for breaking his auto-isolating pledge.
Jesus Christ, what a mess this is turning into… https://t.co/dMnNeCbDb6

Olya Sharypova accusations
Sascha also had a tormented relationship with his former girlfriend, Olya Sharypova. The Russian beauty found the strength to reveal that she was more than once physically abused by Zverev.
As reported by media outlet championat.com things went pretty ugly between the 2 and the accusations are terrible. As reported by the website Sascha “tried to strangle her with a pillow, hit her head against the wall, twisted her arms.” (we really hope that the word “strangle” and the rest are a mistranslation).
According to the Russian beauty, they had a rough discussion in New York last year. Zverev got angry with her when she had a walk with Daniil Medvedev’s wife in New York back in August 2019 just before the US Open. After being attacked in the hotel room, Olya revealed that he prevented her from running out, but eventually she managed to break free.
Olya said that she tried to talk to him, but things didn’t really go well and he just threw her clothes on the floor. Eventually, they managed to make peace and the relationship kept on going with Olya following him in Geneva and Asia. However, she hinted something also happened in China, but she declined to comment. Unfortunately, according to Olya, this was not the first time that he abused her physically.
Olya said that she is unaware if Sascha’s parents knew about all of this. Sharypova said that she is available to even go through lie detectors to prove she is telling the truth.
Let’s hope everything will be fine and Sascha will come clean from this. However, we feel it of Olya if all of this happened. The situation is rather messy.
