Berdych is not able to play the Davis Cup against Kazakhstan

Terrible news for the Czech team as its most representative player will not be able to play the quarter finals against Kazakhstan.

Tomas is struggling with his right shoulder probably for playing too much tennis.

The world no.6 after losing to Richard Gasquet in the quarters in Miami said “Too much of tennis for me in the last seven weeks actually, and my tank is empty completely. The Davis Cup is the thing that I really need to think about it, because really now I feel like the end of the season but we are basically at the beginning.”

Finally Berdych unclosed that he won’t play the Davis Cup by posting on Facebook “Last night’s match was the last straw for me. I woke up this morning and my shoulder hurt so much that it was clear I would not be able to play in Kazakhstan.”

Probably Rosol will replace him to play the singles with Radek Stepanek.
