This was a difficult match as Serena wasn’t playing at her standards.
The start was not really good for the American that lost the first set 6-2. The incredible stat was that Serena was able to win only 2 points out of 11 on her 2nd serve.
Then Serena calmed down to find her game and win the last 2 sets 6-4 6-2. The American blasted 13 aces in 9 service games in the last 2 sets.
