    Sascha Zverev

Alexander Zverev downs Felix Auger Aliassime 6-3 6-3 in the final in Cologne on Sunday. Sascha looked in complete control of the match while his opponent was struggling to find his best tennis. This is the 6 finals played by Felix at ATP level and he still needs to win his maiden title. At 20 years of age, he has still plenty of time.

    The speech

Sascha was elated with the title especially after he had such a heartbreaker in the recent US Open final when he was unable to serve out the match.

“I had a very tough final in New York and the next final I played here I wanted to come out and obviously play my best tennis, finish the match,” he commented.

Then, Sascha had nice words for Felix to say:

“Felix, you’re an unbelievable player. I know it doesn’t mean much right now, but I’m sure you are not only going to win one title, you’re going to win multiple, multiple titles in your career, bigger titles than this.

We know each other incredibly well, you’re going to be lifting a winner’s trophy very soon.”
