Cori Gauff had a rather smooth run in the qualifications in Ostrava to join her fellow American players Amanda Anisimova and Jennifer Brady in the main draw.

The American sensation didn’t get any wildcard for the main draw as the local organization preferred to give priority to 2017 French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko besides helping home favorites Krystina Pliskova and Katarina Siniakova.
