Rafael Nadal is about to play his 13th Roland Garros final, hoping to win yet another title at the French slam and finally match Roger Federer’s 20 majors record. The Mallorcan sensation seems to be in great form and he has dropped no sets in during the fortnight in Paris. If he wants to win the tournament, he will have to defeat the world no.1 Novak Djokovic in the final, but Rafa is still considered as the favorite. Their head to head record is 29-26 for Djokovic, but Nadal leads 17-7 on clay.
About Rafael Nadal’s sister Maribel and who she is dating
Once again, Rafa will have the welcome presence of his family and sister Maria Isabel (Maribel) in Paris. Rafa has a special relationship with Maribel. He is so close to her that it was revealed that the team can’t even disclose to the King of Clay if she has a mild cold when Rafa is competing elsewhere in the world.
“One time when he was away in Australia my doctor ordered me to have some tests done, nothing too serious, but in all the messages I exchanged with Rafael that was the one thing I didn’t mention. It would freak him out; it would risk throwing him completely off his game,” said Maribel.
Maribel used to date Pep Juaneda Grimalt that is working in digital marketing at the Iberostar Hotels. Unfortunately, they broke up after 6 years apparently after a trip to Portugal.
According to the magazine “Hello!”, Maribel is now dating Javier de Miguel, a model from Madrid with a strong passion for fashion.
