At 19 years of age, Jannik Sinner is widely considered as one of the most interesting prospects in tennis. The Italian sensation can rely on a very “easy power” and he is extremely mature and poised for his young age. In addition, Jannik has a very likable character that is quite appreciated by the fans.
Now ranked no.75, the Italian is no.59 in the live rankings and he has the opportunity to break in the top50 if he beats Sascha Zverev in the next match at the Roland Garros.
He has a 10-11 win-loss record in 2020. Sinner is playing at the moment at the French Open where he overcame David Goffin 7-5 6-0 6-3, Benjamin Bonzi 6-2 6-4 6-4 and Federico Coria 6-3 7-5 7-5.
After beating Coria on Friday, the Italian talked about the importance of thinking match by match and learn from every experience.
“First of all you have to think match after match. I mean I’ve played a great first match round against David, which gave me a little bit of confidence, for sure. But it’s tough, as I said, it’s not about winning in straight sets or winning in five sets, obviously, it’s better to win in three sets, but I have improved even my performance after three sets, for sure.
Like in the US Open I lost in five sets, so I still have to learn very much about playing Grand Slams,” he said.

Now the world no.7, Alexander has a 15-7 win-loss record in 2020. Zverev is currently playing at the French Open where he toppled Dennis Novak 7-5 6-2 6-4, Pierre-Hugues Herbert 2-6 6-4 7-65 4-6 6-4 and Marco Cecchinato 6-1 7-5 6-3.
The German got to the final at the U.S. Open.
