Nadal not worried about the tennis world when he, Djokovic, and Federer will retire

Tennis won't struggle when Nadal, Djokovic, and Federer will retire says the King of Clay

Rafael Nadal

Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer have written some of the best pages of the history of our beloved sport. However, they are not getting any younger. Federer has already turned 39, Rafa is now 34 (and he has been struggling with injuries for more than 10 years), Djokovic is 33.

While Federer has been answering for at least 9 years about when he is going to retire, the “new question” is what is going to happen to the tennis world when Federer, Nadal and Djokovic will be out of the game.

Nadal about the retirement of the big3

During the press conference that followed Nadal’s successful 2nd round match at the French Open, Rafa said he is not really worried about the health of tennis for when the big3 will retire to say:

“I think that we are not going to have a problem. My generation, they are super-good characters, interesting characters, a lot of star potential there. The only thing that we are missing is a huge success. I hope we are on the way there.”
