Andy was born 15 May 1987 in Glasgow (Scotland) to Judy Murray and William Murray. Andy’s “real” name is Andrew Barron Murray. Andy has one older brother Jamie that is also a professional player, mainly involved in playing doubles. The former world no.1 got married to Kim Sears on 11 April 2015 at Dunblane Cathedral in his home town after they used to date since 2005. Kim is the daughter of renowned coach Nigel Sears that introduced his daughter to Andy.
