Naomi Osaka decided to take a break after she conquered the US Open following 3 successful weeks in New York, where she reached the Western & Southern Open final before clinching her 3rd slam title.

Unfortunately, Naomi had to withdraw from the French Open as she was nursing a hamstring injury during her staying in New York so as to take a well-deserved break. Given this strange season, it is now unclear if Noami will ever be back to competitions in 2020.

Osaka took advantage of her time off the competitions to visit Haiti that is her father’s homeland, to also shoot a documentary for Netflix that is about the life and the making of successful athletes. The last time that Naomi was in Haiti was soon after she won her 1st US Open following an extremely emotional final against Serena Williams back in 2018.

Naomi took advantage of her trip to Haiti to go to Jacmel, the city of her father, where she paid a visit to the Osaka Foundation with her sister Mari. Naomi didn’t miss the chance to play with a young fan.
