Naomi Osaka has just won a very uncharacteristic US Open after recovering from a 1-set down in the final against an inspired Vika Azarenka. This was the 3rd slam title conquered by the Japanese sensation that will be ranked no.3 after her latest runs in New York.

The US Open champion has been battling for long with a hamstring injury to her left legs. Naomi had to concede a walk over to Vika Azarenka in the Western & Southern Open final and she managed to succesfully go all the way at the US Open.
However, when asked about her plan for the French Open, Naomi said that she is not really sure if she is going to play to say:
“I was planning to play when I came here, but I guess I’ll what happens.”
On the other side, the French crowd will be blessed by the presence of Serena Williams that confirmed she is going to play.
