Nishikori will play the semi against Marinko Matosevic that defeated Dolgolopov 6-7 (6) 6-2 6-4 in just over 2 hours. Marinko blasted 11 aces on 15 service games to win 87% of the points on his first serve and 70% on the second. Head to head is 1-0 for Nishikori as they have played their only match this year in Brisbane (7-5 6-2).
