NEW YORK. Stubborn Richard Berankis outlasts Paul in the 1st round

Richard Berankis outlasts Tommy Paul 6-7⁴ 6-4 7-5 in the 1^st round in New York on Saturday after winning a huge battle. Berankis will play Novak Djokovic in the 2^nd round.
