Murray back to play at the Queen’s Club.

Andy won his first title when he was 18 years old and it was at the Queen’s Club.

The world no.3 will be back to play in West London where he won the title also in 2009 and 2011. Seeded no.1 in 2012 he lost to Mahut in the opener.

About his first title

“I’ll never forget winning the first ATP match of my career at Queen’s Club,’ Murray said.

‘I was only 18 at the time and then went on to have a great match with Thomas Johansson, who was in the top 20 at the time, a couple of rounds later.”

About the tournament

“They get big crowds who know their tennis and tournament director Chris Kermode and the organisers do a great job.” Andy commented

“The grass courts are as good as anywhere in the world, which is perfect coming a week before Wimbledon. I’ve won the title twice before and I’d love to win it again this year.” he added.

The tournament will take place from the 10th to the 16th of June.

Last year

Well last year the tournament finished in the most embarassing way as Naldandian was disqualified in the final for injuring a linesman. So Cilic won it 6-7 4-3 def.
