Amanda Anisimova
Now ranked no.28, the American is coming out from 12 tormented months.
Amanda withdrew from the US Open last year after the horrible and sudden death of her beloved father that occurred right before the major.
She was supposed to play on the 26th of February. However, she conceded a walk over to Svetlana Kuznetsova in the 3rd round in Doha. Amanda Anisimova’s best result of the year was getting to the semi-finals in Auckland.
