Rafael Nadal to defend his title in Rome without fans

The organizations of these tournaments are doing everything they can to have some spectators on the premises to preserve the atmosphere. However, that may not happen in Rome as the Scientific Committee rejected the plan of having 17 thousand fans on the premises according to the Italian outlet La Repubblica. This means that the Internazionali D’Italia is widely expected of being played without fans.
