Amanda Anisimova had a fantastic 1st half of the 2019 season that culminated with her maiden WTA title in Bogota’ and the semifinal at the Roland Garros.

Unfortunately, Anisimova’s life was completely shattered when his beloved father and long time coach suddenly died right before the US Open. Amanda withdrew from the American slam as she was understandably not in the proper frame of mind.

Amanda’s life was once again shaken by the Coronavirus pandemic that has marked an interesting period of self-introspection for the entire planet. Anisimova decided to share with her fans what she has learned during the lockdown with an original video on TikTok.

This was her main message:

“When you start feeling very anxious or a panic attack coming on, stop for a second and take a deep breath to reset your thoughts. Listen to yourself, your opinion matters. Get comfortable spending time with yourself, find things you like doing on your own.

Don’t be scared of change! It’s how we grow. Life can seem super hard at times but keep going, you’re stronger than you think.”
