Novak Djokovic has inspired the tennis world and beyond during the last decade with his success on court and his charitable actions off courts.

The Serbian legend has now 17 slams under his belt and arguably many consider it just a matter of time until he will be able to break Roger Federer’s record of 20 majors.

Novak Djokovic was celebrated in Belgrade with a statue and now he has a court dedicated to him in Clichy (France). The court has been designed by Youssef Sy and Opera Graphiks and it was commissioned by a non-profit organization called Etendart.

Opera Graphiks posted the following message on Instagram:

“The DJOKER project is finally coming to an end … A big thank you to all those who trusted me … I was delighted to take part in the @teamcourtside project which promotes integration through sport by renovating sports infrastructures with the collaboration of international artists. Thus, educational programs for young people who need them the most will very quickly be put in place this summer …”

Djokovic appeared also on the side of the court as posted by the world no.1 on Instagram. Novak commented:

“Merci @lacoste and Etendart association, thank you for giving back to communities with @teamcourtside. It’s so cool how the art turned out 🙏🏼⁣

This free renovated court in @villedeclichy will be used for educational social good programs so I’m really excited to see how the kids enjoy it and play here together. I’m honored to be included. Bravo team Lacoste.”

Youssef Sy also posted:

“In addition to a collaboration I will talk about more very soon, I’m very proud to be part of the TeamCourtside project. This non-profit project consists of promoting inclusion and insertion through sports by renovating sports venues, by decorating them in collaboration with artists and by animating them through the implementation of educational programs dedicated to young people who need it the most.”
