Novak Djokovic has a rather strong change of heart about playing the upcoming US Open. The world no.1 at first declared that he wasn’t really happy about competing in the American major. However, during the last few weeks, he was caught training on hard courts in Serbia after he spent the previous few months practicing on clay.

It’s pretty clear that Novak is now committed to competing in the US Open. According to a recent podcast, the Serbian sensation has also asked the US Open to receive the balls that will be used at the Flushing Meadows.

A video is now circulating on social media about Novak training furiously on hard courts also in Marbella where he joined his family.

Ranked world no.1, the Serbian played his last match on the 29th of February when he beat Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-3 6-4 in the final in Dubai to win his 79th career title.

Currently, this season the Serbian has a 18-0 win-loss record. Djokovic clinched 2 titles in 2020 at the Australian Open and in Dubai.
