Not surprised for what happened with Djokovic at the Adria Tour. COACH

Djokovic was most probably influenced by his family and the family in the Adria Tour debacle according to the Argentine

Novak Djokovic is now back on track in Marbella where he is preparing for the coming back of the tour. Nole has regrouped after a particularly tough period for him that got quite nasty after all the criticism he received after the Adria Tour.

Franco Davin, the former coach of Juan Del Potro, explained why he was disappointed by Djokovic during an interview with La Nacion. According to Davin, he was already stunned by the first images that he saw on TV since everything looked (“artificially”) too normal.

“The moment you saw television and there was the image, it seemed to you that it was something of the past because there were no masks and it seemed that everything was normal. See how I can tell you if I put them on Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic and you ask me who could have done that, only Djokovic.”

Djokovic’s family and environment

While Franco said Djokovic’s attitude was too sloppy, he also acknowledges that he was probably influenced by his family and the environment.

“It seems to me that the attitude. I have lived it in many games against Djokovic, especially with Juan, with attitudes of him, his family, his environment, which are typical of these things happening” he added

However, Franco Davin, that is currently coaching Kyle Edmund, admitted that he is probably not in the right position to comment as he got infected by the Coronavirus like Djokovic and his wife.

“Because I don’t think the tennis family was surprised to see that. I don’t think we would have seen him on the side of Nadal or Federer. But I do not know if I am in a position to give an opinion after having been infected.”
