Djokovic attitude vs. vaccines and his fans
Novak has a huge fanbase, especially in Serbia. However, even his most loyal admirers sometimes struggle in agreeing with Djokovic’s theories. This is the case of the top Serbian epidemiologist and member of the Serbian government, Predrag Kon.
Dr. Kon is a huge fan of Novak, but during a recent conversation on the show “HitTvit” he expressed his doubts about Djokovic spreading wrong beliefs.
“As one of Djokovic’s most loyal fans, I wish I had the opportunity to bring him closer to the importance and huge contribution of immunizations to the health of the population. It is too late now, he has created wrong beliefs and there is no way to help.”
As he was talking to Novak, he added:
“I wish you all the best. You avoid direct answers to the question about vaccination because you have a huge impact.”
Dr. Kon could not hide the fact that he is a proud Serbian and he is amazed by Novak’s accomplishments to adding that he can’t stay away from the TV when the world no.1 is playing.
