Novak Djokovic had a rather interesting lockdown. The Serbian champion was enthusiastic about playing the Adria Tour that eventually went sideways. However, besides the Adria Tour mishap, Djokovic had the chance to train a lot and stay particularly fit for when the tour will be back. In addition, Novak was lucky enough to spend some precious time with his family.
Novak Djokovic in Marbella
The world no.1 has decided to get back to Marbella, where he has spent a big part of his time during the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic. Djokovic is used to getting ready for important events in the Spanish location with his brother Marko and often at the presence of his friend Pepe Imaz.
Novak’s former coach Dusan Vemic talking to Serbian outlet Sport Klub revealed his optimism about Djokovic’s form when he will be back to competitions.
“After everything that happened, Novak Djokovic can only be stronger, smarter and better Whenever the tournaments start, he already has four months of training healthy, he is rested both physically and mentally.
He spent time with his family, everything is currently in balance. The only thing he doesn’t have, like most tennis players, is too many matches to know what form he is in. But knowing him, he needs a few matches and he will be at his highest level.”
