Alexander Zverev is not having a great time in the last 18 months. The German sensation struggled to keep up with his potential after winning the ATP Finals and he found himself embroiled in many controversies. In the last year and a half, Zverev faced a tricky lawsuit with his previous agent Patricio Apey and he split in bad terms with his coach Ivan Lendl.

Sascha has been looking quite unsettled also on the tennis court. The German has been hitting more and more a weird number of double faults that is something that is also extremely uncharacteristic for a player that is almost 2 meters tall. After an epic meltdown, during the ATP Cup he even reduced his father to tears. Confidence is not riding high for him.

Zverev’s image received a rather heavy blow after he was caught breaking his promise to self-isolate following the controversial Adria Tour. Eventually, Sascha was filmed partying in the South of France with his girlfriend and some other models.

Zverev troubles with his girlfriends

On a personal side, last year Sascha Zverev came out from a tormented relationship with his former girlfriend Olga Sharipova. By the end of 2019, Sascha started another intense relationship with the German model Brenda Patea. Zverev and his girlfriend have been traveling all over the world together, but something went wrong. 3 months ago it was reported that they broke up

after they deleted their common pictures on their Instagram accounts. Later Sascha and Brenda went together to the Adria Tour and things looked fine.

However, after the latest PR blow suffered by Sascha, Zverev and his (former?) girlfriend Brenda deleted each others’ pictures on Instagram.

Sascha Zverev and the UTS

Zverev has agreed to play the second edition of the UTS that will commence on the 25th of July. He will not face a heavy workload at the competition as he will have direct access to the final 4. This will be the first appearance for the German after disappearing from the scenes for some time.

It’s probably time for the 23-year-old to focus on tennis. He is still young and he has achieved a lot, but time can fly.
