Dominic Thiem beats Jannik Sinner for the second time in a week in Berlin. The Austrian and the Italian clashed in the 2 bett1ACES events on grass and on Sunday on hard courts. Dominic won in straight sets on both occasions. On grass, he defeated Jannik 6-3 7-6 (5) while on hard courts he won 6-4 6-2 in an interesting location inside the Hangar 6 at Tempelhof Airport in Berlin.

Dominic was the big star of this double competition as he won both legs on grass. Before beating Sinner in the hangar, Dominic defeated Berrettini 6-7 (4) 6-4, 10-8 in the final on grass.

It seems more and more clear that Dominic is getting ready in the right shape to win something important. What about the upcoming US Open?
