Thiem reacts to Kyrgios’ criticism

Dominic has his own way to react to Nick's statements

Dominic Thiem has been one of the constant targets of Nick Kyrgios. The Australian kept on blasting Dominic alongside Novak Djokovic and Sascha Zverev after the Adria Tour. However, the Austrian was never found positive after testing multiple times. Nevertheless, Thiem was criticized by social media for not auto-isolating after the Adria Tour to instead playing a rather conspicuous amount of exhibitions.

Talking with media outlets Krone, Dominic was asked bout commenting on Kyrgios’ criticism. Dominic replied:

“I don’t say anything more about that. It is his right, in a few weeks everything will be forgotten.”

Then the world no.3 admitted that the Adria Tour had to be a learning experience for everyone.

“Not repeating such a mistake – we all did not act with malicious intent. We came out of the lockdown into normality, saw the happy children and fans, and forgot the rules,” added Dominic.
