Serena Williams’ new jewelry collection celebrates her winning 4 straight slams

Serena Williams

Serena Williams is currently “operating” on 3 main dimensions: family, tennis, and business.

On the business side, the American legend is extremely focussed on promoting her jewelry line. During an interesting interview with People, Serena explained why she decided to wear a circular necklace as apart of her collection called “Unstoppable.”

“My background is fashion design. This is a whole new category for me. But I’ve always had a love for jewelry if you look at everything I’ve done. I’ve even played tennis in crazy pieces at times.

I wore a circular necklace the last time I won all 4 Grand Slams in a row. I had won four in a row wearing that necklace. I was just really unstoppable.”

Serena won the US Open in 2014 before conquering the following Australian Open, Roland Garros and Wimbledon. While it looked almost sure that the American legend would have conquered the calendar year slam in 2015, her run was incredibly halted by Roberta Vinci in the US Open semifinal after Serena breezed in the first set. The final result was 2-6 6-4 6-4.

Serena is now preparing for playing the upcoming US Open. If she wins the title shewill match Margaret Court’s record of 24 slams. A new piece of jewelry would be on the way in that case!
